I am very excited about this opportunity to present “A Weekend to Remember, 25th Anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial” and through feedback how I can better present this story about what I saw and filmed. This isn’t about me ! It’s about the Vietnam veterans who attended and participated in Veterans Day, 2007 in Washington D.C.
This is our story about us.
Thank You,
Mark Arguello
September, 2009
I know it’s been over a year since I provided updates and want to Apologize for failing to due so. I won’t try to offer excuses or why the project has been delayed.
Current status of the project.
In April, 2009 – because of the computer processing capability. I purchased a robust, Dell computer with a duo –core processor.. This included upgrading to Vista 64-bit Operating System, 4 Gigabits of DDR2 RAM, adding a 1TB internal hard drive besides the 520Gb C: Drive.
I also upgraded to a professional video editing program from Avid Technologies, “Avid Media Composer” gives me the tools that I previously lacked.
September, 2009 – the documentary project has gone thru several revisions, by reducing the viewing time from 3 hours, 15 minutes in June, 2008. The new “cutdown” is now just over 90 minutes.
The master Narration track has been recorded; while continued revisions of the narration for the “cutdown” are being written and re-written. The audio tracks are now being recorded and will under go revision. So you the viewer can follow the events and personal moments as they occurred.
