The 25th Anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial
I have compiled a 8 minute video that features a few of the highlight's of the event's and activities leading to the ceremony commenerating the 25th Anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at http://www.YouTube.com/afveteran . The documentary includes Two Volume DVD set with a total viewing time of about 5 hours ! I attended two reunions Saturday Night and a spontenous reunion with members of the 1st and the 2nd of the 26th Marines. Sunday events, include numerous live interviews at "The Wall" hours before the start of the Ceremony. I was privileged to record the entire Ceremony itself from the Media stand. Sunday night includes interviews and invitation to the 196th Light Infantry Brigade, Hospitality Room. The members asked me to fetch my digital camcorder to record, picture taking, comments and antics of all who attended that night. This is a Documentary, including Narration and no background music other than was performed at a Ceremony for the Parade, or the Parade. This is not a Hollywood style movie. This is my first undertaking as a amateur.

Mission Statement"A Weekend to Remember , the 25th Anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial" documentary and DVD is the first of other documentaries related to and about the Vietnam veterans community. This documentary will be avalible now and in the years to come. As long as our community and supporter's request this as their record of the oral histories of the veterans who participated in the interviews and attended the events in Washington D.C. during the Veterans Day weekend, 2007. |
